Indigovision Reports Strong Growth and Record Sales

IndigoVision has invested a lot of time and effort into expanding its reach and status in the last few years, and it’s clearly seeing the fruits of its labour. Revenue for the last 12 months was a record £37m – that’s more than 15igher than the previous 12 months and, in reality on constant currency basis over 20igher. In addition, every major region IndigoVision operates in has reported year on year revenue growth.

This news comes hard on the heels of SecurityNewsDesk reporting the company’s impressive half year results. Marcus Kneen, IndigoVision CEO, explained to us that this on going growth and success is the result of a simple formula.

“Over the last year we have introduced excellent new products and won some high profile projects that are contributing factors to our financial success,” Kneen said, “but behind all of that is hard work and commitment to responding directly to our partners and end users. Not only are we able to provide the best solutions, we support them with dedication and communication – and that is the foundation on which we have built our success.”

The company is proving just how strong that foundation is – and people are starting to notice. At IFSEC 2014 in June there was a constant queue at the IndigoVision stand for demonstrations of the company’s new Ultra2k 1080p camera, a product that has seen massive interest from the market.

At the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where IndigoVision provided video security for every stadium, Kneen met with top members of British Parliament, including Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, Business Secretary Vince Cable, and Parliamentary Under-Secretary Karen Bradley. All of whom were interested in discussing the company’s success and learning more about its leading position in the security industry. Kneen told SecurityNewsDesk that this has proven a great boost to the company and has really raised its profile.

In addition to securing Glasgow 2014 with Selex ES, the global leading camera provider has been involved in some of the top events of the year. For instance, IndigoVision were involved in seven projects for the FIFA Soccer World Cup in Brazil, and they have had been instrumental in some huge traffic projects currently underway in Malaysia. It also has an impressive deal in place with casinos in Macau at the moment.

Kneen explained that it’s the company’s ethic of maintaining strong partner relationships and a policy of open communication that has helped it win such massive contracts.

“We have an array of very good partners, and it’s important to me and the rest of the team that we spend time meeting them face-to-face and listening to their needs,” said Kneen. “It’s the only way to ensure that we are able to directly respond to the requirements of the market and continue to grow along with it. There is always more to do, and we’re listening.”

Despite this year’s boom in sales, revenue and profile, Kneen has no intention of letting this go to everyone’s head, and he is very clear on the best way to ensure this trend can be sustained.

“It’s important to me that we stay humble, keep our feet on the ground and continue to listen and act. If we do that, if we continue to meet our partners’ and end users’ needs, then the next 12 months will be just as busy and successful for IndigoVision.”
